Place is an experience! The music talent there is phenomenal! Staff are fun and send the energy over the bar to the customers. BIG time famous DJs play shows there all the time! Highly recommend for a good time.

I visited there for the first time last night and had a great time in spite of the DJ not being my kind of flavor. With that being my only misgiving, I'm just going to check out the DJs listed and go on a night I think the music and crowd will be more fitting for me. These terrible reviews are clearly written by disgruntled people who probably had no respect for the bouncers and staff. If you respect them, they respect you. I personally saw the bouncers constantly clear drinks and keep an eye on things. Kudos to their hard work. The interior has a clean, classy look, and a main screen that constantly play different meme-like animated gifs and viral clips. 2 others have sports, and I think 1 also has a menu show up, but being at the lounge section I couldn't see it well. I've noticed fog machines start going when the place gets very crowded. Judging by reviews I'd come across, not everyone's a fan, so keep that in mind. This place doesn't get packed until after 11:30, so plan this for your late night venue. Crowd wise, I had no problem. Perhaps a few buzzed hens clucking too loud, but lots of sane-looking people just having a good time, blowing off some steam after a hard day's work. That's all we really want, right?

I came to dance and they gave me dance music. I needed to feel the bass in my face, they threw in the lights for free. I needed a drink and they gave me $6 Lagunitas. Show up early and let the dance floor build up around you. The dj had an incredible set and kept the crowd moving. Obviously the crowd trends younger but if you come to dance you’ll fit right in.

Alchemy is by far one of my favorite places I have ever been to, When I first moved to Raleigh in 2015, I frequented this night club once I started venturing out. I have seen the business grow and foster wonderful experiences for the community. The culture is fantastic and there is such a diverse crowd that comes in. I have met some of my best friends at Alchemy. The security is well trained and the bar staff are fast and efficient. The DJs also play proper dance music that appeals to all listening palettes. If it is your first time in the Raleigh/Durham area, VISIT ALCHEMY! You won't regret it.

Reviews are far from what we experienced. Absolutely awesome time, everyone was extremely friendly, adorable outdoor area with heaters. Music was awesome, lights, lasers, everything you could need for a good time out. Highly recommend!

Been coming to alchemy for years and it is hands down my favorite club in Raleigh. Half of these negative reviews are from people who need to find themselves a cocktail bar and not an EDM CLUB. BTW if you forget to close your tab before you leave… you get an auto 20% tip .. DUH ITS 2023??? Have you ever been to a bar before? It’s not credit card fraud there are signs at every bar that have the warning very clear. You just don’t read and don’t close your tabs lol. Music is excellent. DJ’s know what they’re doing and know how to keep the club moving and people dancing. Definitely can be a little loud and crowded but .. it’s a club so it’s to be EXPECTED. Vibes are always amazing, warm and enthusiastic bartenders, make excellent drinks, strong pours and amazing liquor selection. They have VIP table service with the most GORGEOUS and kind bottle girls I’ve ever met. And truly make it feel like an event. Thank you Dutch & Oak city group for my favorite place in Raleigh.

HAD THE MOST INCREDIBLE TIME HERE!! The staff and management were freaking great! The venue was clean nice classy and a comfortable feel. Now it didnt hurt that my favorite DJs in the world DADA LIFE were playing. Had a great time and will be back!! Went back and read other reviews. Just for the record I had zero issues with staff or crowd. I actually dropped my phone 3 times and it immediately returned and its a $1200 S21 Ultra. 3 different times while raging and it was returned and staff were all really cool and I am a 54 yr old white guy. Crowd was very mixed and wveryone seemed to have a great time!

The venue is great! It was my first time going clubbing and I went out with a few friends and we had our good fun! The music was also a good vibe. I will say, there was 2 shootings tonight when we went (it does attract some sketchy crowds), but as long as you dont get into trouble you'll be good 😂
